A collection of images taken over the course of many early mornings spent chasing unpredictable clouds of water vapour around the hills and valleys of the South Downs National Park. Fog has a transformative effect on the landscape. Familiar places are rendered unrecognisable and elements of the view are isolated from their surroundings. The mist is often present for a very brief time before the sun rises and causes it to evaporate or the wind lifts it away. Each scene may only present itself for a few moments, and each image captured is completely unique to that moment in time.
