A new exhibition from the archive Brighton photographer, George Douglas. Working for titles such as ‘Life' and ‘Picture Post’ during the 50s and 60s, he captured everyone from celebrities to charladies, footballers to fashion icons, amassing a rich and diverse collection, much of which remained hidden until his death in 2010. Full of fun, independent, stylish and talented individuals, this is a show that puts George's work back where it belongs - in the public eye.
Following on from the huge success of the George Douglas Open House in 2014, this collection will feature previously unseen work alongside a selection of the original discoveries, and for the first time, estate approved prints will be on sale.
