The day after I was made redundant from my last job as an advertising art director, I woke up early and looked at Facebook. A friend, who has Goth tendencies, posted a link to eBay for a jar of taxidermy bees, saying it was her ideal Christmas present. I thought, I’m not going to work this week, I can photograph them, before passing them on to her husband. I’d like to thank the bees for helping to give me a new start in life.
