64 plastic wreaths made from various lengths of ‘ghost net’ – pieces of fishing gear abandoned by trawlers. I found all of these pieces of rope on a single 45 minute walk along Brighton beach. If left discarded, these fragments of rope can snag wildlife or break down into plastic microfibres. Pop down to the beach now and you’ll probably find some amongst the dried seaweed on the high tide mark.
