South Downs Photography - Woodwork
The South Downs is England's most wooded national park. These woodland areas have been cultivated, managed, coppiced and abandoned over many years, leading to an ever changing landscape and a fascinating mixture of creeping disorder amidst the regimented plantation rows. As ever, it's impossible to find a true wilderness in one of the most crowded corners of the country, but it's still possible to be happily lost amongst these trees for many hours throughout the year.
